During Fieragricola Verona, Federico Battista presented the activities and results of the LIFE DIMITRA and ELLIPSE Project projects, focusing on innovative biofertiliser production from agricultural digestate.

The talk highlighted how anaerobic digestion residues can be transformed from a management challenge into a valuable resource for sustainable and circular agriculture. By rethinking digestate not as waste but as a resource, it becomes possible to contribute to more efficient nutrient use and to support more sustainable agricultural practices.

The presentation also provided an opportunity to share the research activities and technological solutions developed within the LabICAB research group at the University of Verona.

The event represented an important moment of exchange with farmers, stakeholders, and professionals from the agri-food sector, encouraging dialogue on practical applications and the role of innovation in advancing circular agriculture.
